Haematology

Haematology is the specialty responsible for the diagnosis and management of a wide range of benign and malignant disorders of the red and white blood cells, platelets, and the coagulation system in adults and children.

Biochemistry

The biochemical profile is a series of blood tests used to evaluate the functional capacity of several critical organs and systems, such as the liver and kidneys. These tests can be done on an empty stomach or not, and are usually accompanied by a complete blood count (CBC).

Cholesterol

A cholesterol test — also called a lipid panel or lipid profile — can measure the amount of cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood. It can help determine your risk of the buildup of fatty deposits (plaques) in your arteries that can lead to narrowed or blocked arteries throughout your body (atherosclerosis).

Diabetes

Blood testing allows a doctor to determine your blood sugar levels when evaluating you for diabetes.

Thyroid

Thyroid blood tests are used to tell if your thyroid gland is functioning properly by measuring the number of thyroid hormones in your blood. These blood tests help to diagnose thyroid diseases.

Men's Health

Diseases that tend to afflict men can be symptomless: diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart disease, and that is why recommended blood tests are so crucial. Blood tests can provide a baseline so that change is much easier to detect.

Women’s Health

This panel is designed for women at all stages of their life to help them make informed decisions about their healthcare goals. It includes blood counts, a metabolic panel which includes kidney and liver functions, female hormones, thyroid, heart health, and nutritional status.

Wellbeing

Our range of blood tests for general well-being includes tests for vitamin deficiencies, heart, liver, thyroid function, and diabetes along with many others.

Allergy

Allergy blood tests usually screen for at least 10 of the most common allergy triggers, including dust, pet dander, trees, grasses, weeds, and molds related to where you live. They are also particularly helpful in diagnosing food allergies. Allergy blood tests may be referred to as Immunoassay Tests.

Sports / Performance

Blood analysis provides a unique window into an athlete’s health and performance. Certain biomarkers like vitamin D and ferritin can directly impact athletic performance, while others like cortisol and creatine kinase can provide insights into overtraining and injury prevention.
